I’ve used plenty of Clearasil face masks in the past so when I was shopping for skin care essentials I thought I’d try this new Clearasil Blemish + Marks wash and mask. I’ve had this product just over a week, so have only used it a couple of times as a mask so far and a few times as a face wash. To be honest I wouldn’t usually bother using it as a face wash as I’ve had two in ones in the past and usually just like to use them as a mask. Normally I have a separate face product for washing my face but as I wanted to do a proper review I wanted to try it out as both.
How it works as a mask
My skin type is normal I guess and I don’t have sensitive skin, however in the past some face masks have left me with a slightly tingly sensation. This Clearasil one leaves no tingling and doesn’t feel too tight on the skin as it dries (although I sometimes quite like that feeling). Once washed off my skin is left feeling soft and refreshed.
How it works as a wash
It leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh and again no tingling, although I still prefer it as a mask.
It claims to ‘clear blemish fast and fight the appearance of marks’, it’s probably too early to tell that now but it certainly leaves the skin feeling both soft and refreshed. I do have some slight blemishes on my right cheek which seem to be fading but I’m not quite sure if this is a result of this product, the new night cream I bought at the same time (post will be up shortly), just my skin naturally restoring itself or a combination of all three. Either way I’m definitely happy with this product and will give it a thumbs up.
