I had had my eye on these pink welted sole Dr Martens for quite some time and finally, a few weeks ago I decided to just go for it and make the purchase. I had loved them from when I first saw them but it had took me some time to decide if I’d actually wear them and if they’d go with any of my outfits. It turns out since buying them, that yes, they do go with loads and I’ve almost not stopped wearing them!
The bouncing soles make them so comfortable to wear and walk around in and the colour is my favourite shade of pink. The are also made in England, which I thought was pretty cool (as most Dr Martens aren’t these days).
Like I say, since purchasing them, I’ve almost been living in them, so it was definitely worth the investment. Most days I’ve been throwing them on with skinny jeans but yesterday, as the sun was shining, I thought I’d wear them with one of my old vintage polka dot dresses and team it up with a matching pink belt. So you’ll probably be seeing a lot more of these on my outfit post, as I think they are my new favourite comfy shoes.

Shoes – um recently I’ve just been wearing running trainers lately in the hope that one day I’ll actually start running – meh at least they’re comfy.
Thank you!.. You know, I’ve been looking for a pair of running trainers, just to wear day to day and not actually run in. I never used to be a trainer sort of girl but one day I wore my gym trainers for a day outside and it felt like walking in slippers all day! I’ve told myself, I have to invest! Good reminder!

Love this look ive been diagnosed with a neurological condition and i cant balance in high heels any more..i was very sad about this but trying to find my own style with flats while searching i came across ur blog and it has made me very happy to see i could carry this look off and still feel good
Thank you! I was once someone who lived in heels, in fact it was odd if you saw me in flats, now however, I’ve took a total U-turn and I mainly opt for and wear flats. I think it’s the practicality and also the fact that there are actually so many cute flats about these days. So I’m sure if you find the right pair you can still look and feel fabulous! And I would definitely recommend the Docs, I love wearing mine and they are so comfortable too. =D
