With my friend’s hen do coming around this weekend it’s just hit me that it won’t be long until I’ll be looking for something to wear on her wedding day. I’ve already made somewhat of a start on this however, as I teamed up with intu Trafford Centre to style some looks for Spring/Summer 2016, one of which was an outfit to wear for a wedding.
When heading into Karen Millen, I instantly spotted this bright blue laser cut dress and fell in love with the colour and the style. I teamed it with a pair of black suede pumps for a simple, yet effective look, because let’s face it, the dress is the main focus here.
I seem to be drawn to bright colours and lace because there are so many gorgeous bold coloured lacy ones in the stores at the moment. I was actually spoilt for choice in Karen Millen and no doubt I’ll be back in there soon when I head back to The Trafford Centre to try on some dresses to wear for my friend’s big day!

Ah I usually dread special occasions where i have to wear a dress, just because they’re really not something I wear very often (if ever). I do think that blue laser cut dress looks gorgeous on you though, it’s such a nice vibrant colour!

Ah thank you! For me it actually feels weird to be looking at bright colours again as I’ve just transitioned my wardrobe to lots of muted tones but I’m warming to the vibrant shades again and I’ll hopefully pick out something fun for the occasion. ๐

The outfit is gorgeous and the color stunning. My wedding is coming up this year, actually in a month and a half! We dont have a color theme for our wedding, but many do, so ask the bride to be if she has a certain color theme that you have to stick to.
