Recently I took part in the #InPostSwapShop challenge with InPost Uk. As part of the challenge I was asked to select one of my own pre-loved accessories to swap with one other fellow blogger who had also been selected to take part. There were hats and jewellery up for grabs and I actually chose one of my own creations to swap as part of the challenge. I picked out a pink faux leather clutch bag which I had made myself. I then shared images of my clutch bag across social media, letting other bloggers show their interest in my item for a chance to be sent it as part of the swap.

In the end the swaps were decided and so it was then that I got to use InPost UK’s service to send my bag to the blogger who had been selected to receive it.

Before being asked to take part in this challenge, I have to admit I’d never heard of InPost UK, so I was intrigued to find out who it worked. It turns out it was actually pretty easy to use and not as complicated as I had first thought. Basically you do most of the work online, from the comfort of your own home if you wish. Entering the weight and size on the website determines the price of your package delivery and then you pay securely online before printing off your postage label, which you can then stick onto your parcel. Once you’ve printed out and stuck on your postal label you can take your package to any one of the many InPost lockers around the UK, 24hours per day. At the InPost locker you simply scan the postage label or key in the code written below it and one of the locker doors will open for you to place your parcel inside. You then close the door and your package is securely stored until your item is collected and delivered. You can both post and collect items from InPost lockers and it’s great if you’re someone like me who doesn’t always get chance to make it to the post office on time or isn’t often in to collect deliveries. I chose to send my package locker to door, meaning that the bag would be sent to the blogger’s house. You can also select a locker to locker service or even a door to door service, all for a reasonable price which makes it super handy.

In return as part of the swap I received this lovely Pegasus pendant necklace.
