Okay, so let’s talk about the over sized jersey. This is one of the pieces I picked up whilst in York (see York post here). I was on a day trip doing all the touristy stuff at the time, so shopping wasn’t really on the agenda but when I spotted this cool jersey number in the shop window, I knew it needed to be purchased.
I love this jersey because it’s perfect for those days when you just want to throw something on that still looks good. I wore the jersey with skinny trousers, simply styled with a few gold bracelets and a pair of sophisticated heels. I thought ‘under styled’ worked best for this look as I didn’t want any necklaces to clutter up the neckline and I like how the jersey’s (very me appropriate) slogan ‘Over Dress’ stands out. This can be worn as a completely different look though, which is another cool thing about this jersey. It looks great also worn rolled under at the bottom to look like a regular jumper/sweater.
This jersey is actually long enough to wear as a dress but I wasn’t about to bare my pins to the chilly weather. Unfortunately over here it seems that summer is fast fading, and these sporadic yet much loved sunny days seem to be nearly at an end. Which reminds me, September is just over a week away and Autumn is fast approaching! It looks like I best get shopping for winter clothes, any excuse hey.
